ROSEMARY NURSERY SCHOOL
VISION

.

Welcome to Rosemary Nursery. We are situated in St Jude's behind Cabot Circus in the city centre. Rosemary Nursery is the oldest nursery school in Bristol, dating back to the 1920s.

We are proud to be part of a diverse community and welcome families from many different backgrounds.

We have been described by Ofsted as 'a very beautiful school' and 'an oasis of care.' We have a large outside space which is a hidden gem, nestled in this bustling inner-city area, creating a well-used space for children to engage in a wealth of outdoor experiences including gardening and forest school activities.

We support children to be independent, resilient and confident in their play and learning. Our experienced practitioners create a caring and nurturing environment which enable children to settle meaningfully

and reach their full potential.

Partnership with families

Our partnership with parents is a big part of our work.

You know so much about your child.

Your support and encouragement will make a big difference to their learning

To find out more, please browse this website and take a look at our welcome handbook:

Children with SEND
Special Educational Needs

We offer an inclusive approach that enables all children to participate in activities at their own individual level and to experience success. If there are concerns that a child may have a behavioural, emotional, physical or learning difficulty we will always discuss this with you. If necessary we will together refer to specialist agencies that are available to us (e.g. Speech Therapist, Educational Psychologist; Health Visitor or Paediatrician).

Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) is Rachel Barnwell.
